"Something has to change, undeniable dilemma. Boredom's not a burden anyone should bear."
August 26, 2004
I'm baaaaack, yay!
Finally got everything set up so the pictures line up. I'm gonna upload some more pictures later. I cut stuff down a bit because of the ads...which I see are not so much of an issue now. Maybe I'll expand it back to two menu frames. I kinda like it how it is now. We'll see.
April 6, 2004
Finally, finally, finally figured out how to make hover tags work in Netscape. All the pictures on the site should be fixed now. I've been agonizing over how to fix it for some time. The only other change is that every page now has a link back to the index on it, in case some search engine returns it. Or if I wanted to direct link a page or something. I don't know, I just like the option being there, and thanks to Cox's we-don't-need-an-FTP attitude, it took forEVER.
April 5, 2004
The main focus of this update was my revision/expansion of the links page. I did kinda the same thing with my profile page. There are a couple of new pictures up, and I tweaked a couple of other pages to make them up to date.
February 6, 2004
Added a new desktop, White Zen. Put up some pictures of the degus, a couple of quotes, did the standard profile update, YOU KNOW!
January 29, 2004
Added a couple of new pages. There's a section with a little bit of stuff about Hurricane Isabel, under pictures...cos there are a couple of pictures in it. And another section for PhotoShop art, under my work. That section will expand soon I think; I enjoy screwing around with pictures. Also, there's a link to my Live Journal now, just for the hell of it. I have a few new pictures too, but none that are really worth mentioning. The other standard every-update stuff has been done as well.
December 18, 2003
About time, heh. Not much of an update though, unfortunately. Picked at a few of the list-type pages, cleaned up a little HTML, and added a new poem, Drowning.
November 10, 2003
Finished my Dave Matthews Band concert review.
November 9, 2003
Standardized the spacing at the top of each page. I used to have that Java menu, so I had a break or two at the top of every page (it wasn't even standard then). Now that I don't, I didn't like the empty space. So, now there aren't spaces at the top of anything, except G-16, which doesn't really need it. I also touched up a couple of my prom pictures with Photoshop; they look much better now. I hadn't really realized how dark the scans came out, but they look pretty good now.
Still haven't forgotten the lyrics for Busted Stuff, or my DMB review. I've just been busy.
November 8, 2003
Added a new fractal, Mickle, Requiem.
October 31, 2003
Added a few fractals: Pinwheels, Wing, and Phoenix.
October 29, 2003
On cox.net now. Take that, Tripod.
So, Cox doesn't have an FTP. At least, not that I can find. This resulted in taking a couple of hours to move stuff back and forth between my two accounts. But hey, no ads. The site looks great. I'm happy with it now that the headache is over.
Also did Everyday this morning. Gonna go pass out now.
October 28, 2003
Tripod has beaten me again; now the ads are at the top of all my pages. And I didn't think they could be anymore tacky.
I'm looking into relocating on cox.net to see how that goes. I don't think the bandwidth thing should really be an issue, since this page doesn't get a lot of traffic. I just want the ads to go away, and I would prefer it not cost me $9 a month. That sounds cheap when I look at it. Oh well.
Working on DMB lyrics, still have Everyday and Busted Stuff to go. I'm not planning on putting b-sides up, cos it will turn into such an enormous project with DMB and PJ. Anyway, I also uploaded another fractal, Green. That title, oh my god...I'm so inspired this morning.
October 26, 2003 (even later)
I decided to rename my page. Something about using something I didn't make up as a name always bothered me. I was just lazy, or maybe it didn't bother me enough. Anyway, Virtual Mindscape. I like it, so who cares what anyone else thinks!
October 26, 2003
Added a new fractal, Vision. Fixed up some leftover screwed-up code. Contemplating adding Riot Act lyrics now. We'll see what happens.
Yea, I went ahead and did that. I also uploaded a couple more pictures
of the rat. There wasn't as much stuff worth keeping on the camera as I
thought there was. Oh well. I still haven't written a review for the
DMB concert, I might get around to doing that sometime soon. I mean to,
but I don't know if I will.
October 23, 2003
At some point I stopped bothering to write these updates down. Not much
significant until today really though. Awhile ago I noticed that Tripod
had turned ads back on pages; I also found out that my ISP has terrible
bandwidth, so I guess I'm staying with Tripod. Anyway, my lethargy was
largely due to the fact that the ads have disabled the Java menu I was
using. I never felt like making a real site map, and I didn't want to
put frames back up because I knew the banners would be in every frame.
But, I decided to accept that. So yes, the frames look terrible with
scroll bars, but I really think it's the most efficient way to do
I updated a great deal in addition to redoing the frames. I added Thirteenth Step
lyrics (A Perfect Circle's new CD). While I was messing with lyrics, I
decided to change the layout on all my lyrics pages. Before, you would
click on a band, then an album then on whatever song you wanted from
the tracklist at the top. You can still do that, but now there's also a
listing of songs on the main pages. It just makes it easier to do some
things, but leaves the original option just cos.
I had a lot of unclosed tags in the lyrics section, which I found out
also extended to concert reviews. They're fixed now. Actually, there
was no issue with it using Internet Explorer, just Netscape...so I
guess it was always there, I just never knew.
Lastly, I did some routine, every-update-things. Changed some stuff on
the profile, added a couple of CD's. Fixed a few links that were
broken, and even one that wasn't working because I put an extra
quotation mark on the link. Sometimes I wonder about myself.
I have some pictures on my camera that I plan to upload, but my mom is
using her computer now (my camera never updated drivers for XP, and her
computer is the only one in the house not using that), so they'll have
to wait. I also plan to add lyrics for Riot Act today or tomorrow, when I'm not so sick of typing and copy/pasting list item tags.
Again, I'm sorry for the unsightly scroll bars, but I think it's much better than the site map.
July 3, 2003
Added Gibson Les Wang, a poem I wrote a few months ago.
May 15, 2003
Updated my room, and uploaded a couple of miscellanious pictures.
April 26, 2003
Uploaded a few pictures. Gonna upload some EQ stuff, or work on a new signature or something.
April 13, 2003
Yea, can't forget all that stuff in the "update" down there. But I
redid the links page a bunch, probably do even more later, when I have
my computer. I'm sure I'm missing some links somewhere along the line.
Anyway yea. That's later!
February 3, 2003
Just a reminder to myself to fix some stuff when I'm on my own
computer. Need to rehaul bio page with extra infoz. Update the room,
change it from the writing being all green...yeesh. Maybe add some
opinion section for stuff in general. It would be a good way to kill
time, at the least. I got some pictures of Manfrenjensen, and of
people, that need uploading. Fix the caption on that one picture of
Jeremy...where it says he's with three girls...yea. I must have been
tired, or thinking threesome, or something. Anyway. That might be about
it...I need to go take a nap so I can function later. The updates will
come when I log onto EQ tonight and realize that nobody is on and
there's nothing to do lol.
December 19, 2002
Put up a few pictures of Mick and Manfrenjensen. One of Hurl too. Added
a quote, and a couple of links. Basically, just picking at a few things.
October 29, 2002
Added Ghastly Terror Coming from the Kitchen, a story Jeremy wrote, under "misc stuff by others".
October 24, 2002
Finally added some more poems. Four of them, I think. A couple new
quotes up under friends. And all the usual, "every-update"
things...movie, CD collection, etc.
September 30, 2002
My first movie
is now available for viewing! This update introduced a new branch of
the menu, MOVIES. There is only one real movie on it right now, along
with two previously existing mini-movies. If the other one ever gets
finished maybe I'll buy some more space from Tripod and upload it too.
Also new is the poltergeist page. There is also a page for pictures from Jeremy's Prom now.
September 28, 2002
Well, everything is back to normal. Misc and room pages work, but the
room pages are still my old ones. I plan to fix that the next time I
get on the computer in the other room, which is where those pictures
are right now. But other than that, my pictures are all updated and
I wanted to play EQ tonight but it's not gonna happen...so I'll
probably work on my poltergeist page. And maybe make one for Jeremy's
prom. With all this I might also put a new branch on the menu for
movies...add the Jer's prom joke cos it's like a mini movie, and my old
Snow Griffin thing from EQ. But I also plan to look at Tripod's terms
of service and see if they allow movie files...if so I'll upload the
Evan vs. Jeremy one. It's only like 4 mb, and I did manage to clean my
Tripod account down to 10.6 free. I should really just pay the $5/month
and get premium service...25 extra mb, REMOTE LINKING ALLOWED, and no
freakin pop-ups. Anyway yea. I'm gonna go do one of those things I
September 27, 2002 (later)
Well...I think I did pretty well on my English exam.
Fixed the "friends" page, and went back to fix the filenames on all the
other pages that have one or two pictures on them. I didn't get around
to fixing my room, or the miscellanious pages. My room's changed since
those pictures anyway so I don't know if I'll bother. Anyway, I'll fix
the misc/room pages later tonight probably. Now, off to Kenji's!
September 27, 2002
I promised and delivered...at least partially.
I'm redoing the entire picture section. Smaller thumbnails with hover
descriptions rather than captions next to them. This is much more
efficient. I also grouped Mariah, the birds', and Edgar's
pages...simply making a "pets" page. Ken's and my pictures are
similarly joined. I finished the family page as well. I'll fix the
friends/misc pages later, after I get some sleep. I have an English
exam in 6 1/2 hours. So, until then, later.
September 26, 2002 (later)
All the fonts are fixed to be more IE5 compatible. Pictures will probably come later tonight.
September 26, 2002
A year ago today I was freaking out because, in three days, I would get to see Tool for the first time.
Changes are happening here, whether or not you know it.
There should be a deluge of pictures in the next week.
August 15, 2002
I think Tripod cut back on space allowance or something. Anyway, I
moved all my EQ stuff to a new account, which has since been fixed on
the menu. I really do plan to update this page. Whenever I can get the
computer to recognize my camera, I'll probably upload some more
pictures and find some other stuff to tweak.
May 11, 2002 (later)
Added the friends' quote page. It's kinda bland, but I'm not sure how I
want to go about adding color to it without making it look dumb. Maybe
I'll think about it then fix it later.
May 10-11, 2002
Added the movie quote page. Yep, the link is now operational. I'll probably do the friend page tomorrow.
May 9, 2002
Fixed lyrics in the Pearl Jam and Nine Inch Nails sections. Some were
typos, some were misjudgments on my part. Either way, they're fixed
now. If you're astute (although even if you're astute, you probably
could have missed this lol), you will notice that there is now a quote
section on my menu up top. Even if you are not astute, you will
probably notice that half of the links under it, do not work. This is
me being lazy (and tired). I certainly plan to fix these two (movies
and friends, in case you are too lazy to find which two are the dead
links - I would be), but maybe tomorrow. I'm tired right now. I think
the only other thing I did was add my Everquest page to the misc. part
of the menu. Anyway I'm gonna go to bed now. Later.
May 1, 2002
Camera still isn't installed but eh...I give up on XP. I just did the
transfers on my old computer. Soooo, the link with the page about Edgar
is now operational. Those are, unfortunately, the only new pictures on
the page right now, except for one of Mariah getting a bath. The only
other thing I really did today was make an index/home page for my
Everquest project (here, if you're interested). I have an exam tomorrow morning so I should probably be running along.
April 9, 2002
Okay...I'm tired so I don't really feel like installing my camera.
Windows is being a whore and refusing to find it. I almost forgot why I
don't like XP...
Anyway, that's why the link to the section about Edgar isn't
operational. I have no page cos I only have like two pictures. There
are a few more on my camera...but that's the XP problem. Maybe tomorrow
I'll straighten it out. My neck kinda hurts right now.
I changed the link to "my radio station," cos I made a new one on
Launch tonight. I hate Launch...regular Yahoo music was so much better.
But the radio station thing is cool, cos you can ban particular songs
and albums, as well as artists. So, since Creed's only good CD was My Own Prison, I can rate it 90, Human Clay 10, and Weathered
a distinguished 0. My god does that CD suck. HC would have too, except
for a few songs. Anyway, I don't think I've weeded out all the techno
and stuff - they stuck it in there cos I checked Moby under artists I
like - and a few garbage bands, like Garbage, are still floating
around. I also got rid of Better than Ezra. Ezra must suck.
I was toying with the idea of putting some of my White Wolf characters
up here. I go to such great lengths writing backgrounds, I figured
maybe someone else would be interested. Right now I think I'd only have
two or three. I don't know, maybe tomorrow night. I was also planning
on eventually putting up some new pictures of my room. Since I got some
DST set me off I think...cos I'm not usually tired by now. I think it might be the big new monitor. I have
been on here awhile. I downloaded all of Dave Matthews' CD's today lol.
I think it's a combination of DST and monitor largeness (and
flatness!). I did get like 9 hours of sleep today...
Either way, I'm goin to bed after I read some more of the Camarilla book.
March 3, 2002
Fixed a bunch of things that have been neglected for way too long.
Profile and main pages updated slightly, to suit age-related and music
preferential changes. Finally fixed some Tool lyrics that I've been
meaning to fix since about June or July. When it's not 3 and I'm not
tired, I'll take my radio station off of the menu bar. It's been
defunct long enough. I have some pictures of our rats, but not enough
to warrant their own page yet, so they're under miscellanious. I think
that's about it. I think I'll go to bed.
January 10, 2002
Added the script at the index page that makes the water look evil when
you roll over it. I don't really like the red. I'll probably change it
to something else and just re-upload it later. But anyway, I think I'll
add some pictures before I get off this computer. I don't think my dad
is gonna let me play EQ anytime soon, so I've got time, LoL.
December 3, 2001 (later)
I lied. The new pictures are up. There are a couple of my birds, and
one of Mariah eating spaghetti. I just found out the paper only has to
be 4 pages so I'm not that worried about it anymore. I still gotta
start it soon though.
December 3, 2001
Finished the Alice in Chains lyrics section. You can find it, oddly
enough, under lyrics on the menu bar. I also got rid of that Tool
countdown. I didn't realize it was so late...I have a 6 page paper on The Divine Comedy due tomorrow that I need to start yet. I suppose I should get to it. That means the pictures will have to wait...
December 1, 2001
Nothin' much. Finally started transcribing some Alice in Chains lyrics. I finished Dirt and Alice in Chains tonight. I'm really tired at the moment, or else I'd do Facelift
and the two EP's. I think I got less than five hours of sleep last
night. I'm surprised I didn't crash before this. Anyway, I'll take Tool
off the menu tomorrow, and probably finish AiC. Two albums isn't even
worth making a page for. Besides, I'll add that whenever I re-download
the menu script source. Then I can give them a home under the lyrics
bar. Got some new pictures I'll upload tomorrow too.
November 29, 2001
It hasn't been as long as it feels like it's been. I uploaded a bunch of new pictures, including an entire new set of my room.
The others were pretty old, probably a year or so. I would say if you
had to look at one picture, pick the "family" section, cos Jer has a
ridiculous jacket on in one of the pictures...
Anyway, I also updated my CD collection a bit, and the profile pages. Nothing outstanding.
Eventually, I'm gonna fix the menu and take the Tool countdown off. For
awhile, it was a fond reminder of the best two hours of my life. Now,
it's sort of annoying to see cos the concert was two months ago. And,
like I said a week ago, I really, really am putting up the Alice in Chains lyrics.
November 20, 2001
I guess it's been awhile. I updated my journal once or twice since the
last real page update. And after all this waiting, nothing good on the
updates even. Just the profile and CD collection. Ah well. Maybe some
new pics, if I can get the camera installed. Windows XP is not being my
friend at the moment. I really am gonna put the Alice in Chains lyrics
up soon. I promise.
October 3, 2001
Added the Tool review.
There's no way to capture the real feeling of that concert without
reading the review...and even that's nothing like being there for real.
Anyway...that's what I did tonight.
September 29, 2001
Tool will be here in 17 hours. I can't fucking wait.
I wrote the review
for the Concert for America. It's not very long, but that's probably
because all we did was hackey-sack, then watched Stereomud and
Nickelback. Anyway, it's up now, so if you're interested, you can read
it. There's gonna be a long, cool new concert review this time
September 23, 2001
Tool will be here in six days.
All I really did today was change the menu a little bit, and add one
new page. The menu, you might notice, now has two picture sections. One
for people, and one for "other." I did this cos it just seemed like the
dropdown on the picture section was too long, especially after I added
my new page. Jeremy and Evan had a water fight today, which I was fortunate enough to document.
I'm too tired to update anymore tonight, I need to hit bedzor. But I'll
be updating some stuff very soon. Expect a section for Alice in Chains
lyrics in the near future. They're moving up on PJ for my
third-favorite band. I also have a bunch of new pictures, and I might
revise the way the old ones are done. Lastly, I went to the Concert for
America last week, and haven't gotten around to writing a review for it
yet. It will be done before the Tool one is.
August 21, 2001
Duuuude...Tool is coming here! Holy shit!
In honor of Tool's imminent arrival, I've put up a new countdown, under
Music. I also fixed some more typos I found in the NIN lyrics...and in
the quotes page. I elaborated on my car accident page a little bit. I'm
thinking about adding some more quotes. I don't have class until 4
tomorrow, so it's not like I'm in a hurry to get to bed. So yea, there
might be some new quotes now. I'm too lazy to update this page twice in
August 9, 2001
Updated the journal. Added the quote page (off the misc branch). Tired. Bedz0r.
August 5, 2001
Well. I had an accident driving yesterday, and my car is totalled. I have some pictures up on this page.
More information is available in my Live Journal. It's up there on the
menu bar, so I'm not going to make a link. I also put up a link to
Claud's music review page, since I've got a few reviews up there and
someone out there might want to read them.
August 1, 2001
I put up my review of the Jerry Cantrell concert I saw last Sunday. I also added a new chat, Jog.
I updated my profile a little. Lastly, I added some new pictures. One
of my dog, one of my dad, one of my family in PA, and one of the bridge
that leads from Virginia to Maryland. I'm not gonna link these up
anymore, cos like I said, I don't like all the blue. From now I'm only
linking pages, not pictures.
July 23, 2001
Added a bunch of new pictures. I don't feel like listing them, cos it
just makes this page look too link-ish. The best ones are Ken under the
black light and Jeremy humping Evan. I fixed my CD list and some other
really minor stuff. That's about it.
May 31, 2001
Changed all the ASCII emoticons to actual, real pictures. Fixed a
couple of typos in the concert review section. Added a new comparison
to the Finger Eleven concert review. It's funny. I'm a Cloud, by Boy Hits Car, is such a ripoff of Forty-six & 2
by Tool. Stream load these wav's and check them out. Lastly, I added a
new credit to the credits page, for the "borrowed" smilies.
May 30, 2001
Put my live journal up on the menu bar. I don't know how often I'll be making entries, but I can see it happening pretty often.
Also added some CD's and fixed a couple more typos in the NIN lyrics.
May 25, 2001
Added a credits and thanks page. Fixed some APC lyrics that I hadn't gotten around to yet. Added lyrics for Lateralus. I'm tired. I believe I'll be going to bed now.
May 24, 2001
Added a new chat...the one I mentioned yesterday. I also put my brother's research paper on the Matrix and his history project on D-Day up. The Matrix thing isn't really funny, so much as thought-provoking. The D-Day paper is just funny.
I also have some new pictures: Me looking evil, Jer "hiding", me with my mom's birthday present, my mom's fish, me, Ken, and Jer in front of the rose bush, me reading a Mage book, my mom and a peacock, my dad at the Botanical Gardens, and a squirrel eating out of the trash can.
May 23, 2001
I added a page to the literature menu for some funny AIM chats
I had with my friends. There are actually quite a few of them...one of
them I have yet to upload. I also fixed some more typos on the NIN
May 21, 2001
I did a lot of work today. First of all, I took off the Tool countdown. In case you didn't know, Tool's new CD, Lateralus,
is out. Get it, it's completely awesome. On that note, I also updated
the CD section. It had been awhile. I should have a few more to add by
the end of the week, too. I put up a couple of my poems, as well as the
one by Hecht
that I really admire. The "misc" literature section has its own page
now...so all of the things on the literature part of the menu actually
function...and lead to actual pieces of work! I added the Finger Eleven concert
review. The show was decent. I fixed some of the Nine Inch Nails
lyrics, cos I was typing fast and forgot to capitalize "I" in about 20
places, and had a few other typo's. I tweaked my profile pages a little
bit, as well.
I also added some more pictures: my receipt for Lateralus, included cos of a small typo, me playing guitar, me and Ken playing, me playing bass, and Ash playing with his feather.
I figured if I linked them now, you wouldn't have to search through the
database for them...if you cared in the first place, that is.
April 24, 2001
20 days until Lateralus!
I wanted to show off my new guitar...so
I added a new topic to my list on the regular profile...musical
equipment. I think that's about all I did. I cleaned up my folders
today, which took a little while...but that's not a visible change.
Want to hear me playing Forty-six & 2 on my new guitar? Probably not, but if you want to, you can do so here. The sound is fuzzy cos my mic sucks, so you might have to turn it up.
April 14, 2001
I changed the literature branch. There are a bunch of things I've
written up now. Strangely enough, these things are under the "stuff I
wrote" category. None of the other three choices lead anywhere. I'm too
tired to connect them right now.
Incidentally, if you want to see my ridiculous list of mp3's, it's here.
April 6-7, 2001
I guess this update was kind of overdue. I didn't even do that much.
There are a few new pictures of my birds, I updated my page about me as
well as my profile and CD list. Soon, I'm going to post some of my old
stories and poetry, and maybe some of my artwork that doesn't suck. If Lateralus didn't get pushed back, it would be coming out in a little over a week...but that's ok. The wait will only make it sweeter.
March 4, 2001
Fixed the Tool countdown. Delays suck, especially ones that are for a
month. I was all happy that it was almost down to 40 days, and now it's
back at 70.
February 27, 2001
Posted the review for the APC concert. Man, that was cool.
February 23, 2001
Added some pictures. 2 days until A Perfect Circle.
February 11, 2001
Got rid of the banners. Some of them sucked pretty bad. I also uploaded
some new pictures. It looks more official now. I'm about to go look up
the bass tab for Otherside now. 14 days until A Perfect Circle.
February 4, 2001
I uploaded a bunch of new pictures today. 21 days until A Perfect Circle.
January 23, 2001
4 days until my birthday.
I made a new section for pictures, my room. It was actually clean in
here and I thought it looked pretty nice, so I decided to take some
pictures. Then I figured, as long as I've taken the pictures, I could
upload them here.
January 12, 2001 (later)
Look at that. A section with NIN lyrics popped up overnight. Isn't that cool?
January 12, 2001
I renamed my site Blend and Balance...cos let's face it. A site with
your name in the title is kind of overdone. I thought the name sorta
fit. Sorta. I like it, anyway.
I added a new secion to the bar: lyrics. I wanted to put Tool's lyrics
up here, and I figured I'd get the APC ones from SR as long as I was
doing it. Maybe while Ken is at work tomorrow I'll put the NIN lyrics
up there. That's representative of my four favorite bands, anyway.
I also updated some minor stuff, like my profile. I'm planning on
adding the guestbook and credits to the navbar eventually. I'd like to
have a nice startup picture. Aside from the one with La Mer on it. I
like that as a starting point. Sort of sets the scene...
January 3, 2001
Happy new year and stuff. The only new feature is that I uploaded about
20 pictures. One of them is the one of Grandma that she got so mad
about. Everyone she knows will have seen it, sooner or later...hahaha!
To fix the picture section, I added a new branch. It's devoted solely
to pictures of me and Kenneth.
I'm about to either play the Sims for a little while, or play guitar. I
haven't decided yet. Probably the former, since everyone else in the
house is asleep.
December 21, 2000
I finally wrote the Nickelback review.
I also fixed some stuff on the personal pages. Our 11 month
anniversary. The more recent movies. I took Smashed Up Sanity off the
music links list, since it's not up anymore. All the good NIN links are
on my computer, and I'm on my dad's right now...so I'll add them the
next time I update from there. I added a quote to the words page
finally. I can always count on Mr. Reznor. I also fixed the link for
the Creednet BB, cos that moved. That's about it.
December 14, 2000
I totally redid the picture thing. I had always hated the big list
before, but was just too lazy to do anything about it. I've been
sitting here waiting for 99 to play an APC song for almost an hour
now...cos I need to win tickets, cos tickets are a rip off. Anyway, I'm
getting off subject. Instead of a big database, I added a "picture"
section to the navbar, and each subject has a page complete with a
bunch of thumbnails. It's pretty nice, actually. I updated my links
page a little too. That's about it.

Oh ho ho...it's Salival release day!
Everyone's borne the burden of boredom. How's that for alliteration?
Haha...I suck. I just saw Chris Vrenna get his head busted open by
Trent throwing a mic. That was sorta cool. He just put a towel up to
his head and kept playing.
I just added all the CD's I forgot, or just got. That's about it.
Really. I'll update something else as soon as I think about it...
November 10, 2000
Added the countdown to Tool's new CD. April 17th is the day.
I also updated a few random things, like my profile and general info
pages. I took pictures off of the database that appear elsewhere on the
page, cos the list was just getting too long.
November 5, 2000
Fixed the navbar to get rid of the music opinions. That section was
shitty anyway. I should have known I'd never update it...well, I did
know. But I tricked myself into thinking maybe I would one day. Anyway,
there's a bar on every page now, so you don't have to keep going back
to the main page. That may have been good for hits, but it's pretty
irritating. I hope I get my CD's in the mail tomorrow.
November 4, 2000
I uploaded a bunch of new pictures, since the digital camera is finally
working again. When I feel like getting around to it, I think I'm going
to script the navbar into every page, so you don't have to keep going
back to the main. I've been getting lots of new CD's lately, so that
section is updated as well. My profile, with its ever-changing status,
is also new.
October 1-2, 2000
I think I'll write the review tonight, later. Last night I put on that really awesome little navbar that I got off a site. I forget the address. If you view the source on the main page, there's a link though. But then Tripod started to lag out, so I left it undone. I came back today, and Tripod was being nice, so I fixed all the links. You see, all the "back" buttons still pointed to the old page, which has since been deleted. But now they all work perfectly (I think), and there is a lot less wasted space on the page. I like the new layout a lot. In the way of updates, I also fixed my CD collection, since I FINALLY got my other 3 CD's today.

Still don't have the damn review written. But I figured I should update this stuff while I'm thinking about it. Let's see. Superunknown is on my CD list now, cos Ken bought it for me, cos he is such a nice guy! Also I updated my music links. The regular links page got fixed too, the personality test and Ask Jesus are up now.

I need to write a review for Nickelback. That show was cool, with Phil and his two other drunk friends. Some of my CD's came today (still awaiting Purple, Facelift, and Stardog Champion) so I figured, what the hell? I'd update the CD page. While I was there I also updated my profile, since I saw an ASS movie (Bless the Child).

Wrote the Pearl Jam review. That was an AWESOME concert. Also made new banners. Lots of them. Just look around, and I'm sure you'll find one sooner or later. I also fixed all the navbars that opened the wrong page as the main. Hmm...fixed fonts on the pages so the links at the bottom of my lyrics weren't in TNR instead of TSITC. And I think that might be about it...
August 1, 2000
I added the lyrics for No Code. I also added a stupid little quasi-navbar to the bottom of most of the music pages that provide quick access to the main page. I didn't really do that much work, to tell the truth. But I did have to write those lyrics from scratch, and that did take awhile. Pearl Jam day after tomorrow!!
July 27, 2000
Wrote lyrics for Binaural. It took longer than you'd think. I actually had to write them, I didn't just transfer from JH and fix up the HTML. That's it. (1 week till Pearl Jam!!)
July 25, 2000
I added my tragedy page (off "me" branch). That's about it.
July 23, 2000
I see Pearl Jam in 11 days!! My ears are still ringing from the Deftones. And I heard an APC concert on the radio tonight.
This is almost work. Mostly I salvaged stuff from the old website. I have my Pearl Jam lyrics up, and my Creed lyrics. I also saved the Don't Wear Sunscreen radio bit (off "literature" branch). I actually wrote out a music links page. It's pretty long, and it should become longer with time. I also made a bunch of dummy index pages so no one would try to get into my parent directory, for the protection of the G-16 page.
July 21, 2000
My Deftones review is up. Man, that concert kicked ass.
July 19, 2000
We're going to the Deftones! We got two of the last 20 tickets! Woo hoo!! 96 and 99 said the show was sold out, but through our resourcefulness, we have a game plan for tomorrow night. And the Norva didn't tack on a service charge...added bonus.
Anyway...I fixed some ratings. Someone (Ken) told me I should have given Binaural five stars. I thought about it and agreed. It's not fair to compare it with all the other Pearl Jam CD's. I should have compared it to all the other CD's. As a result, it and Vs. now have five stars.
That's a lot of writing when you consider that I did nothing.
July 16, 2000
Ticketmaster is such a ripoff. Two tickets to Pearl Jam, priced at $29 each, cost me $79. That's like a 33% "service charge." Just thought I'd get that out of my system.
Hmm...I fixed the frames. There aren't scrollbars on both frames now, or even on one of them. I also started work on the section of the page about me. The links to the tragedies and school sections aren't up yet cos...well, cos it's late and I'm tired. The words and profile are up, though. I still need to do those new bannners...but I think I'll worry about that as soon as all the branches are linked up. It doesn't look like I did a lot tonight, but...hmm. You got me. I didn't do all that much.
July 15, 2000
I added some more pictures, mostly of my pets. I also uploaded the shoe picture and redid the concert reviews to fit the scheme of my page. I have a guestbook now. Me and Ken have signed it already, so everyone else is welcome to do so. I fixed the main image up and resized it (I did the image map MANUALLY...OH MY GOD) so I could make frames. I sorta like the ever present options to sign the guestbook, send me mail, and check what's been updated. I got some pictures from Synergy of the Pearl Jam concert I went to a few years ago. Yea, it's a little late, but that picture is awesome. They're really getting some air! I had scanner troubles tonight, so little work was done.
July 14, 2000
I did a lot of work tonight after we got home from Busch Gardens. I'm still pretty amused by the shoe picture. But anyway, I uploaded all of my pictures (except the ones on the host comp...Jer was playing Halflife all night). I also redid the structures on the pages with a lot of text (most of them, anyway). I made at least home pages for all of the branches (except a few). I need to get on my comp and make some more banners with MS Photo Draw. I'm just gonna be cheap and move my counter from the old JH to this one. I mean, same traffic...I guess. This is almost finished enough to the point where I can put one of
those auto move links on my old homepage. I'll feel really special when I can do that.
July 13, 2000
This page was established on Tripod, despite the fact that it's pitifully incomplete. Everything I have on any of the three computers is uploaded, with the exception of any images whatsoever (except banners).
